In literacy this week we have
been thinking about poems. We read a poem about African animals and talked
about its features. We then had a go at writing some words to describe our
favourite African animal.

In maths this week the Reception
children had great fun using the Bee-bots to help us with our understanding
of position and direction. The year one children have been learning
how to read the time to the hour and solve time problems.

In our topic work this week
we have been learning about life in an African village. We also used the Ipads
to help us record and listen to different messages. On Thursday we also
performed a song at the school music concert.
