In literacy this week we listened
to the story ‘Handa’s Hen.’ We then had
a go at writing a letter to Handa, asking her questions about where she lives.

In maths this week the Reception
children have been working on their understanding of time, sequencing
daily events and measuring time in different ways. The year one
children have been busy finding halves and quarters of different objects and
shapes.
· In our topic work this week we have been learning about some of the different countries in Africa. We have also used Facetime on the Ipads to help us with giving and listening to instructions. On Friday we had a great time wearing red to raise money for Comic Relief.
