- In literacy this week we read the story of ‘The very hungry caterpillar.’ We had a go at labelling the different food that the caterpillar ate during the story and then wrote a list of what food we would like to take with us on a picnic of our own.
- In maths this week the Reception children have been working on recognising and ordering two-digit numbers as well as practising their number formation. The year one children have been busy finding one more/less and ten more/less.
- In our topic work this week we started to paint some minibeasts for our role play area. We have also been on a minibeast hunt around school and were very excited to welcome some new additions to the class – five caterpillars! We can’t wait to watch them as they turn into butterflies!
