-In Literacy this week we have been busy writing
explanations of how to play simple games, such as snakes and ladders. We played
the games ourselves, explained how to play them to a partner and then had a go
at labelling the games or writing a simple explanation of the rules.
-In Maths this week the Reception children have been working
on counting out two groups of objects and adding them together. The Y1 children
have been working on using money to solve simple word problems.
-In our topic work this week we have been looking at the differences between old and new toys. We especially enjoyed the toy workshop as we learned all about how toys have changed over the years. We also used the laptops for the first time, completing simple games with a partner.
