In English this week we have been reading the story
‘Zog’, about a dragon who goes to school! We thought of some great adjectives
to describe Zog and put our ideas into writing. We also celebrated World Book
Day on Friday and lots of us brought in some great book-related cakes, biscuits
and crafts!

In Maths this week the Reception children have been working
on sequencing daily events and finding out which activities are quicker or
longer than a minute. The Y1s have been working on timing the length of different
events and reading the time to the hour.

This week we have been learning what happens to
different objects when we bend, squash, stretch or twist them. We also worked
hard on our Mother’s Day cards and enjoyed our first session with Beth, our
dance coach!
