In English this week we have been talking about our
new topic, discussing what we already know about castles and what we want to
find out this term. We thought of lots of great questions we wanted to ask
during our trip!

In Maths this week the Reception children have been working
on using words to describe position and direction. The Y1s have been working on
describing position, direction and whole, half and quarter turns.

This week have been learning about the different
features of a castle. We also took part in a problem-solving morning, finding
out which was the most popular destination for our school trip.
