In English this week we have been busy working hard on
our phonics and retelling a traditional tale in our writing. We also read a
Winnie the Witch story and designed and labelled the house we would have if we
were magic!

In Maths this week the Reception children have been working
on recognising and forming larger numbers. The Y1s have been working on adding
and subtracting groups of objects.

This week we tried to find out which material would
make a good waterproof coat for Ted – it turned out that plastic was a pretty
good option! We also learned about how houses had changed over the years.
