In English this week we have been reading the story of
‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears’. We retold the story in small groups and then
had a go at describing what Goldilocks looked like and how she acted. Most of
us thought she was very naughty!

In Maths this week the Reception children have been adding
two numbers together using objects and recording our work in a number sentence.
The Y1s have been working on estimating and measuring the weight of objects,
finding the lightest and heaviest objects and adding the weight of two objects
together.

In science we looked at the properties of different
materials such as wood, plastic, metal and fabric. We started to build our junk
model homes and began learning about the features of a Christian church.
