In English this week we have been learning about
Bonfire Night. We talked about fireworks and the sounds that they make and had
a go at thinking of some great adjectives to describe them. We read some poems
about fireworks and the Y1s had a go at writing a poem of their own.

In Maths this week the Reception children have been busy
sorting and sharing objects whilst the Y1s have been working on number patterns
and sorting shapes into groups.
·
We have also been busy creating different firework
sounds using instruments and have been working on balancing in PE. In science,
we started to learn about the sun and different sources of light.
