This week in Wheatgrass Class...

·         In English this week we read the story ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad.’ We talked about the different fruits in the story and the children had a go at drawing and labelling their favourite fruits. The Y1 children also wrote a list describing the fruits that Oliver used in his fruit salad.

·         In Maths this week the Reception children have been working on counting and comparing groups of objects whilst the Y1s have been subtracting numbers using objects and number lines.  

·         We have also been learning about food and where it comes from and have painted some brilliant fruit and vegetables for our class display. We have also been busy learning a song for our Harvest Festival celebration which we performed on Friday – everyone did really well!
