In English this week we have been thinking about our
visit to Caythorpe Park. We talked about the different things we got up to and
then the Reception children had a go at labelling a picture of our trip. The Y1
children worked hard to write a short recount of our visit.

In Maths this week the Reception children have been
working on finding one more and one less whilst the Y1s have been adding
numbers in different ways and recording their work.
·
We have also been learning about healthy and unhealthy
food and the different food groups. We also talked about our favourite places in
the village and drew some great pictures of our homes. On Wednesday we had a
brilliant time at the park, taking part in different fitness-related activities! On Friday we took part in Eco-Day and learned all about hedgehogs, building hedgehog habitats and making some great hedgehog art!
