• In literacy this week we have been looking at different information texts about the seaside. We discussed the different features and then had a go at writing an information page about the beach.
• In maths this week the Reception children have been busy naming, sorting and describing different 2D and 3D shapes. The year one children have been learning about data handling, creating tally harts, pictograms and block graphs.
• In our topic work this week we have been learning about different food sources. We also identified the capital cities of the UK and its surrounding seas. We also had a go at making different seaside sounds using instruments.
