This week in Wheatgrass Class...

• In literacy this week we have been learning about poems. We read some poems about the seaside and had a go at writing some seaside senses poems, describing what we might be able to see, hear, smell, taste and touch at the beach!
• In maths this week the Reception children have been busy adding and subtracting using money, playing the role of shopkeeper and customer! The year one children have been learning about the days of the week, months of the year and time.
• In our topic work this week we have been learning about different types of habitats and where different types of animals live. We have also had a go at some typing using the Ipads, as well as creating some fantastic ‘under the sea’ paintings for our display.
