-In Literacy this week we have
been reading the story of ‘Little Red Riding Hood.’ We acted out the story in
small groups and then had a go at describing the different characters.
-In Maths this week the Reception children have
been adding in lots of different ways and recording their
work in number sentences. The Y1 children have been working on
finding one more/one less and ten more/ten less.
-In our topic work this week we have made
a start on our junk model vehicles. We have also looked at the ways in which
vehicles have changed over time and have painted some pictures from Little Red
Riding Hood for our class display. On Friday we took part in ‘Healthy Change
Day’ and were able to try lots of different breakfast cereals, fruit and
vegetables!
