This week in Wheatgrass Class...

·         In literacy this week we have been learning about instructions. We followed some instructions to bake some fairy cakes and then had a go at sequencing and writing some instructions to match.
·         In maths this week the reception children have been busy counting with money. We looked at the different types of coins and then had a go at adding and subtracting using 1ps. The year one children have been learning about the values of different coins and the different ways to make the same amount of money.
·         In our topic work this week we have been learning about the South Pole. We worked hard to draw a picture of the South Pole using the laptops and then started work on some moving pictures in art. We also thought about the different things we might want to take with us in a suitcase if we ever travelled to Antarctica!
