In Literacy this week we have been busy writing a list
to Santa! We worked hard on our sounding out and tried to remember how to set
out a list.

In Maths this week the Reception children have been working
on their subtraction skills and recording a simple number sentence. The Y1
children have been working on using time-related words correctly and sequencing
daily events.

In our topic work this week we have started to make
our Christmas cards. We also had a go at using the Bee-bots, programming them
and sending them around the classroom. On Wednesday we took part in Christmas
Maths Day and had lots of fun making shortbread biscuits.
Please
can all costumes for the Nativity be in school by Thursday 11th
December at the latest, ready for the dress rehearsal on Friday 12th
December.
