This week in Wheatgrass Class....

·         In English this week we read The Gruffalo and talked about the main character in the story. We then designed some characters of our own and wrote some great descriptions of them!

·         In Maths this week the Reception children have been solving addition and subtraction problems using objects and number lines. The Y1s have been solving calculations involving missing numbers.    

·         This week we painted some great farm animal pictures. We also sorted animals into different groups and started to learn our farm dance in PE!

This week in Wheatgrass Class.....

·          In English this week we wrote a letter to our families about our trip to Rand Farm. We hope you enjoy reading them!

·          In Maths this week the Reception children have been learning about the properties of 2d and 3d shapes. The Y1s have been solving problems involving multiplication and division.   

·          This week we also used the laptops to search for pictures of farm animals. We also had loads of fun building dens in our outdoor area!

   This week in Wheatgrass Class……

·         In English this week we talked about what we got up to in the Easter holidays! We also thought about our visit to Rand Farm and the different activities that we might take part in!

·         In Maths this week the Reception children were practising their number formation whilst the Y1s worked hard to find one more/less or ten more/less than numbers to 100.   

·         This week we also visited Rand Farm! We had a brilliant time looking at the animals and were very excited to feed and hold some of them! A great first week back!
